For those of you with an entrepreneur mindset, one of the best entrepreneurial courses is opening again soon called Developing Innovative Ideas for New Companies, by James V. Green.
I tried to take this course last year, but found the workload to be too much when added to the other courses I was taking, my personal life, and my work life. So unfortunately I didn’t get very far into it.
It seems this year, the course has changed a bit.
- All of the modules are available immediately, so you can take the course at a breakneck speed if you wish, or jump around between modules
- The peer reviewed assignments have been removed, since they can’t control when people are taking each module any more
- Over 10 hours of new content has been added
Given that this is the sixth time this course has been offered, I think the professor and Coursera are iterating each time to improve the course. If you one day want to run a startup, and love the idea of developing new ideas, this course might be for you.
