This weeks’ new course is a bit different than the traditional courses offered through Coursera, in that the purpose of the course is for you to learn about yourself instead of having an instructor “teach” you something every week. It’s a course of guided self-exploration, I suppose, that will hopefully lead to some insights into yourself.
As the title suggests, Enhance Your Career and Employability Skills is a course about figuring out what you want, what an employer wants from you, how to approach the interview, and even the importance of networking skills. From the intro page:
Learn how to make effective decisions about your future career and how to take control of your professional development by honing your critical thinking and employability skills. Suitable for anyone undertaking some form of study, regardless of academic discipline, interests or employment background.
The course has already started, but all of the videos were posted at once, and you can do them in any order, so you should be able to catch up.
